Dr. Mark Merry

Mark has enjoyed working with computers for the last 39 years. He currently teaches IT at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC and Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. At Campbell Mark teaches courses in databases, software engineering, web site applications, cell phone applications, microprocessor programming, multimedia development, and computer animation.

Mark’s research includes working with massively-parallel algorithms for computational geometry; while earning a PhD. at Kent State University he developed convex hull software for a computer that had 8192 processors. Other experience includes working as a programmer/analyst and software consultant. He finds forensic investigation for voter fraud extremely addicting and at times it (along with a pot of ‘Joe) keeps him up late at night.

Dr. Tim Daughtry

Dr. Daughtry is a conservative writer, speaker and business consultant. Dr. Daughtry started out as a clinical psychologist and became a chief executive in clinical organizations. He has been a guest on Fox and Friends and on nationally syndicated radio shows such as Dennis Miller, Monica Crowley, Jason Lewis, Mike Huckabee, Steve Doocy, and others. His opinion pieces have appeared in Townhall, Breitbart, The Blaze, American Thinker, Lucianne.com, Whistleblower Magazine, and the Washington Times. He is co-author of Waking the Sleeping Giant: How Mainstream Americans Can Beat Liberals at Their Own Game.

Dr. Daughtry regularly speaks to grassroots conservative groups around the country, as well as, Republican elected officials at all levels. He outlines a long-term cultural strategy for conservatives since winning elections will never be enough as long as the liberal minority dominates our cultural institutions. He offers practical strategies for getting off the defensive in dealing with liberals and tactics to recover our culture from the grassroots level.

Jay DeLancy

Jay DeLancy is the Founder and Executive Director of the Voter Integrity Project of North Carolina. Jay launched the Voter Integrity Project (VIP) in early 2011 to empower citizens interested in reforming the state’s antiquated and fraud-friendly election laws through careful research and lobbying. VIP’s ground-breaking data-mining research into illegal voting patterns and other suspicious electoral practices has drawn the attention of local and worldwide media, including Fox News, MSNBC, and the Drudge Report.

Jay retired from the Air Force after 32 years of service, starting as an Army Private and rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He has a Master’s in Business Administration and another in Journalism, and currently works full-time on VIP matters as well as part-time teaching at the college level. Jay resides in Raleigh with his wife of more than 33 years and their chocolate Lab, named Reagan. They have a grown son.

Melody Himel Scalley

Melody Himel Scalley was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Melody is a life-long entrepreneur having founded and operated businesses in hospitality, realty, and communications. Among her endeavors she has founded and owned a boutique realty agency and settlement agency which closed over $67,000,000 in transactions.

Expanded government intrusion into the markets had a direct impact on her business. The end result was her dedicating herself to educate others about politics. She was the first woman to run for the 100th Legislative District seat in Virginia and has worked on numerous state and federal campaigns. Melody is currently the Regional Coordinator of Heritage Action in Richmond. Melody is known throughout Eastern Virginia for her involvement promoting conservative values. She is an avid equestrian and also hosts a conservative talk-radio show.

John Pizzo

John is the Director of Research for the Voter Integrity Project. He has a B.S. degree in mathematics and natural sciences and has held certifications as a Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt, and was an ISO 9000 Quality registrar. John studied advanced statistical techniques in a post-graduate program at Purdue University. John held a variety of quality management positions within Fortune 200 companies, and is now retired.

John joined with Jay DeLancy “at the beginning” of the Voter Integrity Project. He had already been examining and finding voter list irregularities during the 2010 election for NC’s 13th Congressional District. John and his team of more than 20 dedicated citizen-researchers have spearheaded groundbreaking investigations that detail voting by non-citizens, deceased persons, felons, and those voting in multiple states. The research team is continuing to expose issues such as voter density, provisional balloting irregularities, bogus same day registrations, and more.

Two years ago, Denise met Jay Delancy and John Pizzo, and was immediately interested in becoming a part of their important work. She was recently appointed the Director of Communications and sincerely hopes that you are as inspired by the work of VIP-NC as she is!
